Coaches Corner

Recreation/Volunteer Coaching

Overview:

NBASA strives to provide a safe, structured and fair environment for young players. NBASA promotes an environment for players to have FUN learning the game of soccer while creating opportunities for players to develop a lifelong passion for the game. Our Recreation Coaches are expected to follow the vision and spirit of Recreation soccer.

The intent of our Recreation soccer program is to provide a safe fun environment for children to play and get exercise. We will not keep standings, we will not keep records, and we will not anoint a champion. This doesn’t mean there isn’t competition because every game has a winner, but the focus must be on the experience of recreation soccer not game outcomes.
